Seller Universe operates the job application portal at selleruniverse-form.vercel.app. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information collected through this portal. You may contact us at hr@selleruniverse.com.

When you submit an application, we collect the following personal data:

We also automatically collect technical metadata such as submission timestamps for record-keeping purposes.

We use your personal data exclusively to:

• Evaluate your application for VA and IT positions at Seller Universe.
• Contact you to schedule interviews or request additional information.
• Maintain records of our recruitment activities.
• Comply with applicable labor and employment laws.

We will not use your data for marketing purposes, sell it to third parties, or use it for any purpose unrelated to your application.

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting your application. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us — this will result in your application being removed from our records.

Where required, we may also process data to comply with a legal obligation.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform that employs industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest). Profile photos are stored in a private-access cloud storage bucket.

Access to applicant data is restricted to authorized Seller Universe personnel involved in the recruitment process. We implement row-level security policies to prevent unauthorized access.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

We retain your application data for a maximum of 12 months from the date of submission. After this period, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems unless:

• You have been hired and your data is transferred to our HR system.
• We are required to retain it by law.

You may request early deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9).

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it with:

• Supabase — as our infrastructure provider for data storage (acting as a data processor on our behalf).
• Vercel — as our hosting provider (does not have access to your stored application data).
• Government authorities or regulators, only if required by law.

This portal does not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising pixels. The only browser storage we use is sessionStorage on the admin page to maintain an admin login session — this is cleared when the browser tab is closed.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction — Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion — Request that we delete your application data.
• Withdrawal of consent — Withdraw your consent to processing at any time.
• Portability — Request your data in a machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hr@selleruniverse.com with your full name and email address. We will respond within 7 business days.

Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted an application, please contact us immediately so we can remove the data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
